Terms of Service

1. Description of service

MyStarsAI is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) reputation management platform that helps small businesses collect Google reviews, manage private customer feedback, and respond to reviews using AI-powered tools. The platform automates the sending of SMS review request messages to your customers after business transactions.

2. Eligibility and account registration

• You must be at least 18 years old and operating a legitimate business to use MyStarsAI
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• One account per business location on Growth and Pro plans; multiple locations permitted on Business plan

3. Subscription plans and billing

Plans and pricing

• Growth — $149/month: 500 SMS review requests/month, 100 AI response drafts/month
• Pro — $199/month: 750 SMS review requests/month, unlimited AI response drafts, Reputation Analysis, AI Consultant (300 sessions/month)
• Business — $299/month: 2,000 SMS review requests/month, unlimited AI sessions, multi-location support

Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to your selected plan. No charge is made until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial with no obligation.

Billing and renewal

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the renewal date
• All fees are non-refundable except where required by law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to your registered email address

SMS overage charges

If you exceed your monthly SMS limit, additional messages are billed at $0.02 per message. Overage charges are added to your next monthly invoice. You will be notified in your dashboard when you approach your limit.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing hello@mystarsai.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Access continues until the period ends. No partial refunds are issued.

4. Your responsibilities and prohibited uses

TCPA and SMS compliance — critical

• You must only send review requests to customers who have given you their phone number voluntarily
• You must not add people to your contact list who have not done business with you
• You must honor all STOP requests immediately and not re-add opted-out numbers
• You must not use MyStarsAI to send spam, unsolicited messages, or messages unrelated to your business
• Violations of TCPA can result in fines of $500–$1,500 per message — you bear full liability for non-compliant use

Google review policies

• You must comply with Google's review policies at all times
• You must not use MyStarsAI to selectively solicit positive reviews while suppressing negative ones
• Both the Google review link and the private feedback link are sent to every customer — you may not modify this to gate by rating
• You must not offer incentives or compensation in exchange for reviews
• You must not create fake reviews or ask employees, family members, or friends to write reviews

General prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other customers' accounts or data
• Use the platform to send harassing, threatening, or offensive messages
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform
• Resell or white-label the service without our written permission

5. AI-generated content

MyStarsAI uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate review response drafts and coaching content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and may require editing before use
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before posting it publicly
• MyStarsAI does not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or completeness of AI-generated content
• You retain ownership of content you post to Google or other platforms, regardless of whether it was AI-assisted

6. Intellectual property

MyStarsAI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MyStarsAI LLC and are protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your business data, customer data, and content you create using the platform. By using the service, you grant MyStarsAI a limited license to process and store your data solely to provide the service to you.

7. Third-party integrations

MyStarsAI integrates with third-party services including Square, Jobber, Zapier, Google, Twilio, Stripe, and others. Your use of these integrations is subject to each provider's own terms of service and privacy policies. MyStarsAI is not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third-party services.

8. Service availability and uptime

We strive to maintain high availability of the MyStarsAI platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice, and unplanned outages may occur. MyStarsAI is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service unavailability.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. MYSTARSAI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL IMPROVE YOUR GOOGLE RATING, INCREASE CUSTOMER REVIEWS, OR PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR BUSINESS OUTCOME.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyStarsAI LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or your violation of any applicable laws including the TCPA.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Tarrant County, Texas, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you:

• Violate these Terms, particularly the TCPA and Google review policy provisions
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees when due
• Engage in conduct that harms other users, MyStarsAI, or third parties

Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease and your data will be deleted within 30 days per our data retention policy.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
